We recently had the pleasure of hosting a lovely group of quilting ladies as they got together to have a quilting retreat. These ladies quilt together regularly and it was a pleasure to get to know them and be a part of their group for a short time!
I was particularly impressed with the fact that every one of these ladies was working on hand quilting - not a sewing machine in sight!The colors, and designs in the studio for that weekend were beautiful and inspired me to get back into my own hand quilt, which I have been working on for many years now. The ladies kindly took a look at my work in progress and gave me a few pointers from their years of experience and expertise. Thank you ladies. I can't wait to have you here again soon.
